Today is a very interesting day in my life. Its the 10th anniversary of my marriage. It feels so much like yesterday when I was serenading her in a bus station by singing to her , while others looked at me as if I was crazy! I have a few moments to record my thoughts while my kids eat their dinner.
For making it to the 10th anniversary, I think the credit for the same has to be given to my dear wife. I pray she continues to tolerate me for many years more. She is the best thing that has happened to me.
So, its a 10th anniversary, has to be big. The answers is "No" as I am sick like crazy on this day. No romantic evening, no flowers I bring to the door step, I can't even sound romantic. I sound like Al Pacino after 10 drinks in a jazz bar filled with smoke where I am smoking the best Cuban over multiple damp scotches!
Never figured my 10th anniversary to be like this. Regardless, I am happy as 10 years of investing in my marriage have yielded two wonderful kids and a smile on my face every moring as I awake, and that my friends, cannot be exchanged for anything in the world :-)
Life could not be better. I need to make it up to my Jaan (Hindi for my life and thus my wife) in some way. She definitely deserves more than a day filled with my coughing and wheezing...
